We The People of Ohio
See U Next 2sday has partnered with Seattle’s Backbone Campaign to bring a monumental hand-painted “We The People” Constitution scroll on a statewide tour of Ohio — and we want you to be part of it.
Starting April 11, the scroll is coming to Cleveland, Springfield, Dayton, Marietta, Columbus, Cuyahoga Falls, Akron, Toledo, Youngstown, Gambier, and more communities across the state. This living artwork already carries the signatures and messages of thousands of people from across the country.
Now it’s Ohio’s turn to add its voice.
At each stop, community members are invited to sign the scroll and leave their mark on a piece of American civic history. All sections from around the nation will come together for a culminating display in Washington, D.C. on July 4th.
The Tombstone Project
A Memorial Installation Confronting Loss, Power, and Constitutional Limits.
The Tombstone Project is a public art installation created by See U Next 2sday. Each tombstone bears the name and age of a person who died in 2025 and 2026 during federal immigration enforcement operations, in immigration detention, or in encounters arising from enforcement activity.
These markers represent real individuals.
Seen together, the scale of loss becomes visible.
Many of these deaths have raised serious public concerns about the proportionality, oversight, and use of force in current enforcement practices.
This installation made its debut at a vigil hosted by Cleveland Heights 4 Immigrant Rights, and is currently under consideration for a display in front of a local church on the west wide of Cleveland during the month of June.
If you are interested in reserving this installation for an event or display, please email us.
